By Big Explorer - September 28, 2019
If you have limited time in Sapporo, Hokkaido, and want to make the most of it, you must visit our favourite one-stop shopping mall — Susukino Lafiler!
1. Savour Yummy Delicious Japanese Food!
This seven-story building houses almost everything you’ll ever need. If you dislike crowds and tourists, this place will be paradise! There were no long queues in the restaurants, service was swift and the staff were polite, prices are affordable.
We dined at one of the Japanese restaurants here but unfortunately didn’t get its name (cos it was in Japanese).
The food was authentic and delicious! if you enjoy uncovering hidden gems, do make a trip here… take the lift up to level 6 or 7 and get lost in the sea of delicious Japanese fare!
2. Be awed by Japanese Sweets & Mochi Selection
Delicious Japanese sweets and mochi pushcart stalls are located at level one. The friendly stall owners first lured our curious palate with some delicious sweet samples and we were hooked!
Japanese candy — sesame and peanut matcha flavour |
These soft chewy candies were not overly sweet and can be eaten on its own. We purchased green tea and sesame flavoured candies. These soft candies were immersed with strong flavours and we couldn’t resist landing our hands on them!
3. Do cheap shopping exist? YES! Super Cheap Shopping at Can Do
Like Diaso, a budget shop in Japan and many parts of the world, Can Do offers affordable shopping from homeware, stationery to food and beverage, and most items in this incredible shop cost only 100yen! Here, we stocked up on face masks, some cute homewares and souvenirs!
4. Wide selection of Japanese snacks, fruits and drinks at basement supermarket
