We tried several street food but this freshly
cooked chicken in a cup gives other street food a run for their money.
Don't be fooled by its name, there is nothing distinctly herbal and it's
sweet sauce and bite-sized crunchy chicken comes with our favourite...
Mini hash brown! Woot! All at an unbeatable price 😊 💸 Cost: W2000 (small) / W5000 (medium) / W7000 (large)
With 3 'cup' sizes to choose from, you will regret buying the smallest size as it's too good to control your appetite.

Yes, like a native korean, we ate out in the blistering cold at a Pojangmacha (aka ! small tented street stall) in Korea. Together with the locals, we cramped together eating tteokbokki, giant oblong skewed fishcakes and beancurd skin.
Although the hygiene level may be questionable for those with "washer" OCD type (as the long wooden skewers are recycled). However, if you are willing to overlook the hygiene standard, like we did, and just blend in the locals, interacting with the friendly aahjumas like in the K-drama, you might end up ordering much more than you intended, like we did 😂. You can't get more authentic than this!
There are many Pojangmacha in various locations in Seoul, we tried one near our hotel near Dangsan metro station.
💸 Cost Between 700 - 300 Won

Before it opened in Singapore, we had first in Korea and it's way more authentic dining with Koreans. On its menu, we tried Yoogane Chicken Galbi, it's delish! Chicken galbi - grilled spicy chicken with chunks of spicy rice cakes and strips of potato, dipped into melted mozzarella cheese!
Best thing about this place is that the waiter, like in Teppanyaki restaurant, will stir-fry the food before your very eyes.
Thumbs-up experience especially if you're a cheese lover or for those who prefer to be served after a long hard day of shopping and you just want to let others do all the cooking for you!

Our virgin meal in Seoul, with freshly tapped beer, we indulged in flavoured soy and original oven baked chicken that is suppose to be healthier than normal fried chicken, and not forgetting the crispy
fries!
It was our first time trying tteokbokki (hot and spicy rice cakes) and throughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the chicken was a little too dry for our liking. To truly pair with Korean fried chicken experience, do it our way and stuff that belly of yours with a chilled frothy tall glass of beer!
