Pojangmacha, near Dangsan metro station, Seoul

Yes, like a native korean, we ate out in the blistering cold at a Pojangmacha (aka ! small tented street stall) in Korea. Together with the locals, we cramped together eating tteokbokki, giant oblong skewed fishcakes and beancurd skin.

Although the hygiene level may be questionable for those with "washer" OCD type (as the long wooden skewers are recycled). However, if you are willing to overlook the hygiene standard, like we did, and just blend in the locals, interacting with the friendly aahjumas like in the K-drama, you might end up ordering much more than you intended, like we did 😂. You can't get more authentic than this!

There are many Pojangmacha in various locations in Seoul, we tried one near our hotel near Dangsan metro station.

💸 Cost Between 700 - 300 Won

Our Verdict:
Food drool factor 🙀🙀🙀🙀
Service ⭐⭐⭐
Price 💰💰
